After 50 years of service to Lehi City, Kerry Evans retires

Lehi City’s Fire Marshall, Kerry Evans, will retire On April 1, 2021 after serving Lehi for 50 years. According to Jeremy Craft, Lehi’s Fire Department Chief, “Evans has been instrumental in helping Lehi grow and continue to grow. We will miss him and his service to the community.”

Mayor Mark Johnson added, “Kerry Evans has been a staple of not only the fire department but Lehi City as well. He is probably the most recognized figure as an employee. I can’t imagine anyone who has served more citizens than he. His service is remarkable and he will certainly be missed.”

Due to COVID restrictions, his retirement will be quietly observed by Lehi City and Lehi City Fire Department.
