Boys Basketball

Results: Feb. 5 Corner Canyon 92-62 Skyridge. Region 2-4; overall 13-5.

• Senior forward Dallin Yates built on last week’s strong performances with 21 points against the Chargers.

Girls Basketball

Results: Feb. 5 Skyridge 47-40 Corner Canyon. Region 4-2; overall 10-5. 

• Senior guard Ally Blackham scored 23 points against the Chargers and became the first Falcon girl to surpass the threshold of 1,000 points for her career.

Upcoming: Feb. 12 at Westlake, 7 p.m.; Feb. 16 at Pleasant Grove, 7 p.m.

Wrestling

Results: Feb. 2-3 Skyridge finished fourth in the Division A tournament.

• Falcon grappler Josh Millward (145) was named Outstanding Wrestler in the Division A tournament. He finished the regular season with a 44-1 record.

Upcoming: Feb 19 Wrestling 6A State Tournament at Corner Canyon, TBA.

Swimming

Results: Jan. 30 Skyridge swam in the Region 4 meet at Davis. Comprehensive results were unavailable at press time.

• Falcon junior Katie Andrist had a terrific region meet. She posted the fastest time in the state this year in the 500-yard freestyle race by more than 13 seconds. She also swam the 2^nd-best state time in the 200 free at this meet and trails the leader by just 1/100^th of a second.
