This Monday, September 17, Skyridge High School teacher Becky White will carry out her 15th and final Mascot Bowl as she plans to retire at the end of the school year.  Overseeing the Mascot Bowl has been a highlight of her teaching career since starting in 2004.

The Jazz Bear will again join the all-star mascot team for a fun-filled night of football, food, and entertainment. Mascots from local colleges, universities, and NBA teams will be available for pictures and autographs from 5- 6 p.m.  Autograph t-shirts will be available to purchase for $5.  The event will feature performances by the national champion Weber State Spirit Squad, the Utah Jazz Dancers, Utah Jazz Hip-Hop team along with local Lehi and Skyridge High School cheer squads. Half-time entertainment sponsored by Garrin’s Automotive will feature country-western star Charley Jenkins and his band.

All proceeds from the event will be used to provide a Christmas shopping spree with the Jazz Bear and Santa for local children in need. Tickets are $3 (children 2 and under are free) and may be purchased in advance at Skyridge High School or at the gate the night of the event.

Sponsors of the event include Young Living Essential Oils, Bank of American Fork, Alpine Credit Union, J&M Steel Solutions, Great Western Landscaping, Larry Cox CPA Inc., Western Governors University, David Holland Construction, Safeguard, Premier Log Homes, Christensen Oil Co., Ken Garff Chevrolet, Pick’s Insulation, Dudley Concrete Pumping, Geneva Rock, The Dance Company, and BBQ Pit Stop.
