This Mailman really does deliver

Lehi’s Dennis and Lisa Schoonover recently purchased a new Polaris RZR all-terrain vehicle at Karl Malone Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Heber City. Much to the couple’s surprise, former All Pro Utah Jazz power forward Karl Malone himself was present at the dealership. After arranging their purchase, Lisa said to Karl jokingly, “If you’re the Mailman, do you really deliver?”  Karl said, “Sure, I’ll deliver, just don’t tell the neighborhood.”

Dennis and Lisa arranged to have the vehicle delivered the following Friday. They weren’t sure he would really come, but sure enough, Karl himself brought their new purchase on a trailer, parked it in their driveway and visited with them in their Lehi home for several hours.

Karl signed a basketball, talked about memories of playing in the Olympics, and posed for photos. Dennis said, “He was so kind, polite and nice. He took his shoes off at the door and was extremely personable.”
