Easter happenings this weekend in Lehi

It’s no joke, Easter is this Sunday, April 1, and there were plenty of Easter activities happening in Lehi last week. Thanksgiving Point and Cabela’s are hosting events this weekend.

Thanksgiving Point will be hosting their Easter Eggstreme event on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with egg hunts every half hour from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hosted at Electric Park, kids can enjoy massive egg hunts with prize-filled eggs, as well as a special visit from the Easter Bunny for kids to meet and take pictures.

There will also be inflatables, face painting, a ride on the cow train, and more. Tickets are $6 for adults and $12 for kids, with discounts for Thanksgiving Point members at $5 for adults and $11 for kids. Cabela’s in Lehi will be offering free crafts for kids on Friday, March 30 from 2-5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday the 31 to April 1 from 1-4 p.m. They will also be hosting their own Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, starting 2 p.m. with registration from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Customers can enjoy crafts with the kids, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and an Easter Egg Hunt with candy prizes.

Lehi City hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24 at Lehi City Sports Park with a hearty turnout of about 1,000 people. With over 20,000 eggs lining the field, kids and parents alike scrambled to grab the prize-filled eggs. The city had roped off sections for the different age groups to participate in the hunt, as well as an area for kids with special needs. On March 23, Lehi City also hosted a special Teen Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at Vets Ball Park with cash and candy-filled eggs to be found.

Rex Real Estate hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24 at Olympic Park with bounce houses, Disney princess face painting, 10,000 Easter eggs, and a helicopter egg dropping with special prizes. They had a great turnout with attendees enjoying the special Easter activities.
