1945-2018
Ellis Lehmberg, formerly of Lehi, passed away from cancer February 12, 2018 in Cedar Fort, Utah. He attended Lehi High School in early sixties. He was born on December 2, 1945.
He will be remembered as a handsome, fun-loving, dare devil. In 1976, he attempted to break a world record by being pulled on hand-fashioned metal skis across the Bonneville Salt Flats. He was nick-named “Evil Cheese.”
He was also a gifted guitar player in his youth.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mabel and Walter Lehmberg, his two brothers, Ross and Boyd, sister, Nola, and son, Travis. He is survived by his daughter, Yvette Gunter. No services are planned at this time.
