Friday, February 23 marks Lehi Library’s 2018 Gala. Each year this event proves to be one of the most memorable and fun fundraisers of the year. This year’s event will feature a silent auction and performance by VoiceMale, a popular six-man contemporary a cappella group based in Utah. Beth Chynoweth, a Lehi library board member said they are very excited about hosting the gala at Skyridge High School, their new venue. The silent auction will be set up outside the auditorium and will begin at 6 p.m. Many products have been donated by local vendors for bidding and all proceeds will benefit the Frances Comer Fund in behalf of the Lehi City Library. These funds will allow for significant improvements to areas of the library.

The doors to the auditorium will open at 6:30 p.m. and VoiceMale will take the stage at 7 p.m. Rubber duckies will be available for purchase in association with one of the group’s signature songs. There will also be light refreshments available for purchase in the lobby prior to the concert. Tickets for the Gala are $20 and are available online or at the Lehi Library.

Chynoweth said, “we are working hard to gather more donations to reach our goals for funds to make library improvements. We would love for citizens to support the library by attending this wonderful event.”
