Lehi and Skyridge girls shine in State Track Competition

Ginger Nelson and Brinn Jensen placed first in their events in the girl’s division of the Utah state track competition held Saturday, May 20th held at BYU.

Nelson, a senior at Lehi High School, placed first in the high jump. Her winning jump was 5’3”. Nelson has committed to compete at Idaho State University.

Brinn Jensen, a 4.0 GPA Skyridge senior, placed first in the 100, 200, and 400 races. Her time in the 100 meter was 12:41, 200 was 24:64, and the 400 was 55:95. She will compete for Weber State University next year. She is also an Academic All-State recipient.
