Nancy Hunter rounded her final third barrel on Sunday, March 12 and raced home back to that God who gave her life and was welcomed with open arms by her beloved parents and her horse, Mr. Fuzz, into the gates of her next rodeo. Nancy was born to Ned and Joyce Wilson on July 29, 1957. After graduating in the Lehi High School class of 1975, Nancy married her high school sweetheart Fred Hunter, the following April. They were inseparable as they traveled along the rodeo trail. She and Fred made their home in Neola, Utah.

Nancy had a passion for rodeo and for her barrel horses, Sprat, and Mr. Fuzz. She worked as an emergency room nurse, and had a genuine love for everyone she met. Nancy is survived by her husband, Fred Hunter, her four sons, Josh (Amy) Hunter, Wyatt (Tina) Hunter, Austin Hunter, and Kolton Hunter and her siblings Peggy (Stan) Lewis, Gordon (Dixie) Wilson, and Kellie Jo (Darin) Jones, all of Lehi. Nancy was the proud grandmother of her two grandchildren, Hallie and Heston, whom she loved to spend time with making happy memories. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Joyce Wilson.
