Lehi residents were treated to perfect weather as they welcomed Santa, Lehi City leaders, and the Lehi High School Marching band on Saturday, November 26th in the annual parade officially welcoming the Christmas season. The event was well attended. Kids were lined up by the hundreds for their chance to visit with Santa and make their requests. Santa himself arrived by horse and wagon.
The Lehi Children’s Choir sang at the lighting of the Lehi City Christmas tree, located on the lawn near the new Rippy Literacy Center. Lehi City provided hot chocolate and cookies. The parade and tree lighting has become a fun tradition in Lehi that started years ago, and it continues to remind us of our old-fashioned roots.
