Last Friday and Saturday, August 27 and 28, Lehi’s Thanksgiving Point played host Utah’s Renaissance Faire which was attended by hundreds of enthusiastic locals.

Each year, the family friendly event features full-contact jousting with the “World Famous Knights of Mayhem.” Local entertainers and artisans representing the Renaissance Era provided entertainment for all ages. Medieval merchants offered goods and treats.

Other entertainment included the Pinocchio Theater, archery, armored combat shows, equestrian entertainers, music and street performers. This year, the special guest musical entertainer was Stary Olsa direct from Belarus. Each evening, Antony and Cleopatra, a local favorite grassroots Shakespeare duo performed for free. Don’t miss next year’s event for more historical fun and surprises.
