Hutchings Museum Begins Summer Animal Shows

The Hutchings Museum is a hands-on teaching museum and now has many new interactive, touch and feel exhibits and since summer is in full swing, it is time for the Hutchings Museum’s weekly live animal programs.

Starting Thursday, July 7, live animal programs will begin at 2pm every Thursday. Admission cost is regular museum admission, $2. These shows will feature live reptiles as well as birds of prey. Different animals will be displayed and described every Thursday until August 18th. Come out and learn about the animal kingdom and see lizards, hawks, snakes, owls, and more. While you’re visiting the show, enjoy the museum’s exhibits as well. With the personal attention of the knowledgeable docents, you’ll find a visit to the Hutchings Museum is a dynamic experience you won’t forget. The museum is located at 55 N. Center Street.
